Ariana Grande has even one less thing to worry about this summer. Thanks to the the entertainment production team The Battery Company, her hit song “Promlem” has been given a musical comedy makeover with the parody “SPF.”

In the viral video, which reached more than 150,000 views since it was uploaded to YouTube on July 23, Rumer Willis and a crew of shirtless, suntanned studs preach the importance of using protection … from the sun, that is.

when MTV News caught up with the spoof’s creator Jake Wilson, the director, writer and self proclaimed supermodel explained his inspiration for the project.

“Obviously I want my videos to be funny, but if I’m going to put my time and effort into something, I like to make it have a message as well,” he said. “One of my best friends Nina had minor skin cancer in college from sunburn and ever since then, my friends and I have been super cautious in the sun. So, I thought what better way to get that message across than by having hot, sweaty guys dancing? Obviously.”

Besides “Problem” being one of Jake’s “favorite” songs — “like, literally on repeat 97 times a day” — he also wanted pay homage to the singer since she made a cameo in one of his viral vids back in 2009.

“She did an episode of my web series ‘The Battery’s Down’ a few years ago, so I’ve known her since her “13″ the musical days,” Jake said. “I’ve yet to reach out directly as I know she is with family this week. I would hope she thinks the video is as rich as I do, which I think she will. She gets it.”

The Battery Company isn’t the only ones making headlines for their musical spoofs. “Weird Al” Yankovic reached #1 last week with Mandatory Fun, which features rewrites of songs by Iggy AzaleaRobin ThickePharrell WilliamsLorde and Imagine Dragons.

“I loved Weird Al growing up,” Jake said. “I most definitely had a cassette single of ‘Amish Paradise’ and some of his music videos taped from my VCR. I have yet to watch his new stuff, but I’m so glad that his material has, and still is being received so well.”
