Reports claim Taylor has been trying to set her up with some new suitors
Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez were once inseparable and it looks as though the former BFFs could be BFFs once more following claims that the pair have grown closer following the former Disney star's split from bad boy ex, Justin Bieber.
The 24-year-old is said to be relieved to have her best friend back, and is "proud" of the star for finally gaining the strength to split from on-off boyfriend Justin.
Since the pair broke-up on July 4, the I Knew You Were Trouble hitmaker has allegedly been trying to set Gomez up with a number of eligible suitors that she thinks are a better match for the star, and is said to be "relieved" that she has finally come to her senses and dumped Biebs.
“Taylor and Selena have been talking a lot more now that Justin is out of the picture,” a source told HollywoodLife.com. "She’s so relieved that Selena finally came to her senses and dumped Justin. She is so proud of Selena and how’s she’s been handling the break-up.”

Since the split, Justin has been seen partying with models in Ibiza and was also involved in an altercation with Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom, with reports claiming the pint-sized star made a remark about his relationship with the 37-year-old's model wife, Miranda Kerr.
Meanwhile, Selena was spotted rocking a sophisticated and mature look at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, where she scooped the event's prestigious, Ultimate Choice Award. The Spring Breakers star looked incredibly stylish in a black tailored jumpsuit and it seems the singer has even been inspired to write again..
The 22-year-old uploaded a photo of a cosy-looking fireplace over the weekend and captioned it: “Inspired tonight. I have a la la, smooth, feel good kinda song I’m trying to get out. That makes sense right? #fiji #mini”
It's no secret that Swifty regularly writes song inspired by her previous romances, could the Come and Get It singer be taking advice from Taylor and expressing herself through song? Either way, if it's a "feel good" track we're guessing Selena is in a pretty good place right now. You go girl!
