He’s fast become the least popular person of the week
Eminem
can’t seem to do anything right at the moment as the rapper has
offended for the second time this week after swearing regularly
throughout his performance with Rihanna at the Concert for Valor last night in Washington D.C., prompting viewers to express their disapproval on social media.

The Slim Shady hitmaker joined his frequent collaborator on stage at
the star-studded concert, which also saw the likes of Bruce Springsteen,
Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Hudson perform, to sing their recent
number one single The Monster, while he also carried on with his own set
at the National Hall bonanza. However, the audience were stunned at
Eminem’s foul language which took place from the get-go with the rapper
hurling expletives a number of times during the performance, somewhat
tainting the poignant message of the concert which was held to
commemorate soldiers fighting at war.
While
many still enjoyed the audience, others were shocked by Eminem’s
language, including @NajatD who tweeted: "Turning off HBO after all the
swearing coming out of EMINEM..they cld have put him on later..after
kids like myself have gone to sleep.” @VTjawo agreed commenting: "With
the gun shot effects, swearing, lyrics, I don't think Eminem was the
best choice for #ConcertForValor,” while @buff1414 said: "Is there
really a need for #Eminem to be swearing like an idiot at the
#ConcertForValor.”
Not everyone was offended by his performance though as
@LeaderoftheNew waded in: “Lmao @ people concerned over Eminem swearing @
the Concert for Valor like they've never heard Marshall Mathers LP smh
smh smh,” while @scottcunni quipped: "#Eminem #swearing at a #concert
& being shocked is like being shocked when u invite a #Republican 2
speak and they want 2 appea #Obamacare.” @jayBarr21 added: "How could
anyone be surprised EMINEM is swearing a lot during his set?
#ConcertForValor.”
Eminem, here last year, has fallen into everyone’s bad books this week (WENN) |
It’s not the first
time Eminem, 42, has caused outrage over his lyrics with the hip hop
legend threatening to “punch Lana Del Rey in the face like Ray Rice,”
with many shocked that he would make light of a highly-publicised
domestic violence incident. Although Lana has maintained a dignified
silence so far on the controversy, her pal Azealia Banks, has spoken on
her behalf, posting a rather fruity diss towards the rapper on Twitter.
After all these years, Eminem never ceases to shock! Watch the performance below:
